Faith-Filled Living

Weariness and fear can show up at the most unexpected times in your journey of faith.  You may even wonder if there is any purpose to what you’re working toward, or if it’s worth pursuing the things you were once so passionate about.  When it feels like you’re in a dark, confusing place, remember that a life of faith involves risking, trusting and surrendering.

Faith to risk:  Be confident of God’s greater purpose in the midst of challenges you don’t understand.  Any successful person will tell you they have had moments of doubt, fear and failure that they’ve had to overcome.  Fear can be paralyzing and sometimes you simply need to engage your faith to take a risk and start moving boldly toward the dreams God has placed in your heart.

Faith to trust:  Believe that God’s preparation will be just what you need to fulfill your life purpose.  And it will be the perfect blending of your gifts, passion and life experience will be just right for your success.  Living out your destiny is a journey and not an event.  The key is to remember that you have placed your trust in God, and He is always faithful.

Faith to surrender:  The details of your life do not escape the all-knowing, all-powerful and ever-present God of the universe.  Embrace opportunities for growth knowing that His timing is perfect and He’ll open the right doors at the right time.  You can surrender to Him knowing that He’ll orchestrate the divine connections to accomplish His plan and purpose in and through you.

Spiritual Perspective:  During a dark and confusing time in my life, I received great strength from *Psalm 25:3, “No one who waits for you will ever be put to shame, but all who are unfaithful will be put to shame.”  Success is not a quick, straight path to the finish line.  It is a journey that is accompanied your steady confidence in the providence and character of God, who is faithful, just and merciful.  As you daily let this truth infuse your thoughts, you will see that faith-filled waiting and God-honoring choices will pave the way for true success.

The best way to be faith-filled when it comes to your life purpose is to have a plan.  You can develop your own action plan with one of my Clear Life Purpose ™ Coaching Programs.  If you’re ready, don’t put it off any longer – here’s how you can get started!

Renew, Refresh and Refocus:  What one thing can you surrender to God in order to truly be free from the burden?  How have past experiences been used to prepare you and grow your faith?  What small step of faith can you take a risk with to start moving forward on the things God has placed in your heart?
