Your Destiny, Your Journey

Destiny isn’t something that just “happens”.  You have an active and vital role in discovering and living out your destiny.  The information you gather, the choices you make and the actions you take are all part of the process of stewarding and navigating the journey of your unique destiny.

Be contemplative, but take action.  Quiet time to ponder your path, take stock of your current life status and consider what you want your life to look like long term is a necessity.  However contemplation is only useful to the degree that you formulate a plan and implement it.  Being contemplative can feel like progress, but true progress only takes place once action has been taken.

Be strategic, but flexible when necessary.  More often than not, walking the path of your destiny will have a few twists and turns.  The best way to navigate this is to remember that often what feels like a detour may play a very important part of your ultimate success.  It’s God’s will for you to know and fulfill your destiny so don’t get discouraged when life takes an unanticipated change of direction.  Pray for the wisdom to see God’s hand in every situation so you can adjust your plans as needed.

Be courageous, but place your confidence in God. You can be confident that God will strategically open doors and bring about divine connections at the right time and in the right way.  Your responsibility is to be courageous and take action by following through on the opportunities God brings your way.  Remove the idea of failure, take the attitude of a learner, then make a bold decision to step out and take a risk knowing that God is with you.

Spiritual Perspective:  Successfully stewarding your destiny is about believing and trusting that God will guide you throughout the process.  Be encouraged from Psalm 73:24* which says, “You will keep on guiding me with your counsel, leading me to a glorious destiny.”  Remember that fulfilling your destiny is a journey and not just a destination.  God is with you each step of the way and He will not abandon you.

I’m passionate about helping you discover your purpose, and fulfill your divine destiny.  It doesn’t matter how old you are, you can invest in yourself for a more satisfying life and I would love to help you get started.  To find out how, simply click here!

Hi Bridget, I love your sensitivity in your writing I was sitting here thinking about completing my book, in past few months I have felt so discouraged thinking this book is just not going to finish. After reading you blog I felt as though the LORD was speaking to me through your shared thoughts, it helped me to get back on track. I just wanted to say thank you for sharing your powerful words of encouragement. Trusting God to guide my steps. the title of my book is “Out of Death Came Life” my spiritual journey in life and how God became larger than all my pain and suffering, and how He came and reasoned with me to fight and live and complete this destiny that He has predestined for this life. Thank you I would love to hear from you…
